If you want to discover the right answers to building a very profitable business, then you must re-educate yourself in many things just to join the new world of vehicle servicing in the aftermarket, including the following: how billed hours per invoice are measured; what should that number be in our operation based on our vehicle mix; what is our daily flat line number; what door rate should we be charging based on our staff competencies; what internal processes have to be implemented today from the front counter to the back shop to the office to absolutely ensure client satisfaction and professional execution; what is our shop culture and what has to be changed to move forward; how do we change our shop culture; how do we attract and retain competent people to build the right shop culture; how do I measure all this to know we are on the right track?
The correct answers for your business will always provide you with the clarity and vision to see the right path for you, which is always present.
Your commitment must be to move your business forward, not sit in the dark and whine. Take one step at a time… at least that is moving forward instead of standing still and doing nothing. You’ll be amazed how fast one year can pass and what you can really accomplish when you are making a concerted effort to make things better.
