Professional vehicle inspections are one of the most critical elements today in a professional shop.

Consider that you’re being hired by the client to insure their vehicle won’t let them down. How do you do that without a proper vehicle inspection?

Consider that you should recommend at least one comprehensive vehicle inspection per year for the basic consumer and at least two comprehensive inspections per year for commercial accounts.

The purpose of this is to get a complete picture of the vehicle—this allows you to counsel the client for safety and reliability. All the work required to bring the vehicle back up to standard may not be done all at once but, this allows you to enter the conversation of budgeting for their vehicle and a time frame to get the prioritized work done that can fit into a time frame that works for the client. The conversation on full on-going maintenance is now in the discussion.

Remember, you’re in the relationship business. To build a trustworthy relationship you must have meaningful conversations based on facts of your client’s situation, not generalities of industry findings.
